Security for connected products

We help customers use Fluidra connected products securely throughout their lifecycle. This is Fluidra's central resource for the security of connected products: practical guidance, published advisories, and a direct channel for reporting security issues.

Stay secure. Stay connected.

Good security habits

Simple measures.
Better protection.

Use these measures to protect connected products, accounts and networks.

01

Set a unique password on your equipment and app account

Replace the default installer or factory password on your connected device, such as a pump, chlorinator or automation controller, before first use. Use a strong, unique password for your app account and turn on multi-factor authentication where it's offered.

02

Install app updates promptly

Install mobile app updates as soon as they're available, and enable automatic updates where supported.

03

Know how to report a suspected issue

If something about your connected pool product looks wrong, use the Report a security issue section on this site to let us know.

04

Secure your home network

Use current Wi-Fi encryption and change default router credentials.

05

Keep your app account clean

Periodically check the users, installers and paired devices on your account, and remove any that no longer need it.
